Job Description

Job Descriptions
 As the lead procurement representative at the project sites, forecasts, plans, establishes, maintains and reviews procurement and property control programs to ensure their consistency with all applicable regulations and established corporate policies, standards and procedures.
 Interfaces with representatives of the Government, corporate leadership, project personnel, subcontractors and suppliers in matters pertaining to procurement.
 Oversees compliance with established subcontractor and supplier sourcing and qualification processes and procedures.
 Ensures achievement of Subcontracting Plan goals for utilization of diverse business enterprises.
 Leads or supports negotiations and commercial transactions involving complex, high value and high risk procurement.
 Establishes performance reporting metrics for assigned area of responsibility and issues formal reports pertaining to procurement status and accomplishments.
 Develop integrated purchasing strategies to support MGE’s goals and objectives
 Run the procurement process including the supplier selection and award process
 Analyze spend and other data to identify, negotiate and execute cost-savings, cost- avoidance, risk mitigation and portfolio optimization opportunities.
 Lead and build relationships with suppliers with a focus on development of capabilities, pricing stability, and anticipation of supply disruptions.
 Monitor and evaluate supplier performance; resolve production/relationship issues. Other related duties as assigned.
 Works in conjunction with scheduling, production demands and capacity constraints and reports status
 Analyze and calculate costs of procurement and suggest methods to decrease expenditure by coordinating with the Regional Procurement KPI’s to drive procurement excellence, including savings and benefits

Job Requirement

Job Requirements
 Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA or professional supply chain certification preferred
 Five (5) years’ experience in a Procurement or Strategic Sourcing focused role.
Experience in a fast paced, innovative industry preferred.
 Knowledgeable in the bid business process and able to negotiate and sustain networking relationships internally and externally
 Ensures agreements with verification from Commercial, supply chain, finance and demand planning regularly.
 Ability to follow process flows and understand intricacies across the MGE’s and processing platforms
 Knowledge of manufacturing is a plus.
 Fluency in spoken English and good English writing skills required.
 Good presentation skills and people skills; team player.
