Initiates and assists in the development of the machinery infrastructure capital program budget
Plans and prepares the maintenance budget
Extensive experience in project and inventory management, technical design, supervision, planning and scheduling, budget and finance, contracts management, field production methods, routine inspection and maintenance.
Agency coordination for business development
Plans, schedules, estimates and manages the force account work for machinery infrastructure capital projects
Has input in the negotiation of collective bargaining agreements
Supports and implements the employee technical training and developmental programs
Conducts scheduled inspections and assists in the infrastructure audits
Complies with Engineering policy, procedures, and standards
Plans and forecasts equipment requirements for maintenance, production, and machinery construction projects and programs
Responds to and resolves infrastructure failures and unusual emergencies
Responsible for operations, cost reduction, process improvement, asset utilization, program and organizational management and a demonstrated understanding of project operations
Other duties as assigned by Management
Job Requirement
Engineering Degree:
A bachelor’s or master & degree in mechanical engineering or a related field is typically required.
Experiences, Skills and Knowledge required
15-20 years of relevant work experiences in similar role
Excellent time management and ability to prioritize and to meet commitments
Strong organizational, analytical and quantitative skills
Familiarity with requirements of drawings and specifications and with terms and conditions
Project Contracts, Subcontracts, and Purchase Orders
Excellent communication & interpersonal skill
Possessing skills in Leadership, team building, communication, decision making, problem solving, presentation and organizing
Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues
