Job Description

Project Planning and Pre-Construction

  • Review and support development of project brief, feasibility studies, and master schedule
  • Participate in consultant selection and appointment (designers, QS, PMCs, etc.).
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and authorities during the design and approval stages.
  • Lead value engineering and design optimization efforts.
  • Assist in cost planning and budgeting in coordination with QS and finance team.

 

Design and Authority Coordination

  • Manage the design development process to align with budget, quality, and timeline.
  • Ensure compliance with local codes and regulations (building permits, environmental, etc.).
  • Liaise with authorities for required approvals and construction permits.
  • Monitor progress of documentation ( drawings, construction details, specifications).

 

Construction Execution and Supervision

  • Oversee site activities to ensure timely execution in accordance with approved design and specifications.
  • Monitor and manage contractor’s performance and compliance with project plans.
  • Review contractor’s work progress, quality assurance, and safety practices.
  • Attend site meetings and lead coordination among contractors, consultants, and suppliers.
  • Resolve site issues and propose technical and managerial solutions promptly.

 

Contract and Cost Management

  • Coordinate with Quantity Surveyors to manage contracts, variations, and claims.
  • Track and report project costs, budget adherence, and cash flow.
  • Assist procurement in reviewing technical submissions and contractor qualifications.
  • Ensure proper documentation and approval for changes and extra works.

 

Quality, Safety, and Compliance

  • Enforce quality control and assurance procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards.
  • Organize QA/QC inspections and oversee final handover process.
  • Coordinate defect liability period management and rectification works.

 

Reporting and Stakeholder Communication

  • Provide regular updates and progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Manage project documentation, records, meeting minutes, and correspondence.
  • Represent the developer in progress meetings with consultants, contractors, and clients.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field.
  • Minimum 10–20 years of experience in managing residential and mid-rise condominium projects.
  • Proven experience in project lifecycle management from design to handover.
  • Strong understanding of building codes, construction methods, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, coordination, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and resolve conflicts effectively
  • Proficient in project management software (MS Project, Primavera, etc.) and MS Office Suite.
  • local language and English proficiency
